Wilbur W. "Bill" Hanson Jr. of North Brunswick died Sunday November 18 at St. Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in New Brunswick, Mr. Hanson lived in Jamesburg for many years before moving to North Brunswick last year. He was employed for over 20 years as a truck driver for Shaw Industries, Cranbury, retiring in 2008. Mr. Hanson was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge 988, Bound Brook. He was predeceased by his wife Rita Linke Hanson in 2008 and his stepfather Vincent Calvo Sr. Surviving is his mother Patricia Gutholm Calvo of Monmouth Junction, two stepsons Joseph Grasso of North Brunswick and Christopher Grasso of Marionville, PA, three brothers Vincent Calvo Jr. and his wife Linda of Phillipsburg, NJ, David Calvo and his wife Cindy of S. Brunswick and Joseph Calvo of Philadelphia, PA, three sisters Edna Paniscotti and her husband Dominick of Piscataway, Ruth Betzler and her husband Karl of Somerset and Raimonda Calvo of Reading, PA, his step granddaughter Lindsey Grasso of Yardville, NJ and several nieces and nephews. Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Lester Memorial Home 16 W. Church St., Jamesburg with burial in Fernwood Cemetery, Jamesburg.
