Veronica Fusco Cicio, Jamesburg, NJ

Veronica (Ronnie) Francine (Fusco) Cicio, (99), went home to be with Our Lord on December 2, 2025, surrounded by her family. Veronica was born in Jamesburg, NJ.
After high school, Veronica worked at NJ Bell telephone as a switchboard operator.
On weekends, she and her sister would go to the Hightstown dance where she caught the eye of her future husband, Anthony. After her marriage in 1956, she settled down in her hometown of Jamesburg, NJ, where she raised her two daughters, Terri and Judy. She also worked for Carter Wallace for 30 years prior to retirement. A parishioner of St. James the Less Catholic Church all her life, she was a member of the Alter Rosary Sodality. Veronica donated to many charities including St. Jude, Doctors Without Borders, Guiding Eyes and gave to Native American Children’s Mission. She adopted two sisters from Guatemala when they were small girls supporting them, which allowed them to continue their education until they graduated and found employment.

Veronica loved her family and enjoyed getting together for holidays with all her family. She especially liked buying gifts for everyone. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She drove her grandchildren to practice. She especially loved going to IHOP with her grandson Anthony, when he was little and Michael in her later years. One of her favorite things was cooking for everyone especially when she made her chicken, lima bean, and potatoes. Her niece and nephews loved her chicken soup with pastina. Some of her hobbies included reading and gardening. She loved to be outside picking vegetables and tending to her flowers. Veronica traveled around the country with her sister, Edith, on bus trips. She also visited England, Scotland, Wales, and Italy.

Preceded by her parents Carmino and Josephine (Vingara) Fusco, her husband Anthony, Sisters, Mary Fusco, Betty Grabowski, Edith Sisti and Philomena Fusco; her brothers, Joseph, Michael, and Eugene Fusco.

She is survived by her daughters, Theresa Rossi (Albert), and Judy Klimes (John); grandchildren, Michael Rossi, Lauren Sundberg (Jeffery), Anthony Rossi, and John Jr Klimes (Madeson); great-grandchildren, William and Claire Sundberg; her brother Carmine Fusco (Barbara), and several nieces and nephews.
