Satish Punj, born November 3, 1942, in Sialkot, passed away peacefully at home on February 17, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Satish lived a life defined by excellence, integrity, and deep devotion to those he loved. A brilliant scholar, he graduated from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, an achievement that reflected both his remarkable intellect and unwavering discipline. As a highly accomplished metallurgical engineer, he built a distinguished professional career marked by expertise, innovation, and respect from peers and colleagues alike. His analytical mind was exceptional — precise, thoughtful, and insightful — and it guided not only his professional accomplishments but also the wise counsel he generously offered to friends and family.

Yet, for all his professional accolades, Satish’s proudest and most cherished role was that of husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was the devoted husband of Sudesh Punj, a loving and guiding presence to his daughters, Tina Punj and Ritu Punj, and a trusted father-in-law to Tarun Saxena. His greatest joy came from his grandchildren, Hitarth and Duhita Saxena, who brought immense light and pride into his life.

Satish lived by strong and unwavering principles — honesty, kindness, and compassion formed the foundation of everything he did.
