Marie Lenore (Labarbera) Ross Obituary (1937

Marie Lenore (LaBarbera) Ross 79 of Monroe Township died Thursday August 17th with her family by her side at her home. Born in Flushing, Queens, NY, Mrs. Ross lived in South Ozone Park, NY before moving to Monroe Township in 1957. She was employed throughout her life as an insurance processor for several different companies. Mrs. Ross was a member of the Piscataway Garden Club. She enjoyed cooking and helping people and loved family gatherings and her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Carl LaBarbera. Surviving are her husband of 61 years Robert R. Ross Sr., her daughters Christina Ross of Sayreville and Lenora Bennett of Hunterville, NC, her sons Robert R. Ross Jr. of Monroe Township and Michael Ross of Sea Bright, her brother Ronald LaBarbera of Indiatlantic, FL and her seven grandchildren Alexander and Ryan Bennett, Megan, Nicholas, Ariel, Madison and Christina Ross. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday August 23rd at the Lester Memorial Home 16 W. Church St., Jamesburg. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery, Jamesburg. Visiting hours for family and friends will be Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 9-10 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
