Lorraine “Lorrie” Florek Niedzielski

Lorraine “Lorrie” Florek Niedzielski, 57, of Dover, Delaware, passed away at her home on September 2, 2026. She was born on December 17, 1968, and raised in Monroe Township, New Jersey, where she graduated from Monroe Township High School.

Lorrie was fun, creative, full of energy, and incredibly generous. She was known for always helping others and for her kind and outgoing spirit. She loved going to the beach and, most of all, spending time with her family and creating memories together.

Lorrie was an amazing mother who loved her children deeply. She cherished the little moments in life and loved saving memories to look back on in the years to come. Becoming a grandmother to her beloved granddaughter, Ellie, brought her tremendous joy.

Lorrie is survived by her children, Edward (Wife Savannah), Katherine, and Emily (Husband Justin), her granddaughter, Ellie; her grandson Shane; her partner, James Rafferty; and her siblings, Casey and Elizabeth. She was predeceased by her parents, Joanne and Joseph Florek, and her brother, James.

Lorrie leaves behind a lifetime of love and memories that will remain with her family forever. Her children will especially miss the everyday moments—the phone calls to catch up about their day, sharing life’s little worries, and knowing their mom was always there when they needed her.

Though she is deeply missed, Lorrie’s love, kindness, generosity, and beautiful memories will live on in all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m at Lester Memorial Home in Jamesburg, New Jersey, followed by a service at the same location.
