Francis Joseph Michael O'Neill Iii Obituary (1941

Francis Joseph Michael O'Neill III, 71 of Monroe Twp. died Wednesday March 6th at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. Born in Union City, Mr. O'Neill lived in Woodbridge for many years before moving to the Concordia community in Monroe Twp. 7 years ago. He was employed for over 30 years as a warehouse manager at B & B Best Buy Foods, Bayonne, retiring in 2003. He was also a former owner of a Blimpie Restaurant in Woodbridge. Mr. O'Neill was a veteran of the US Navy. He was active in the Bearcats Pop Warner Football Team, Fords and a member of the USS Rankin Organization. He was a skeet shooter, enjoyed boating, fishing and astronomy. He loved the Atlantic City casinos and enjoyed listening to Pink Floyd. He is predeceased by his father Francis J.M. O'Neill and his stepfather Bill Schropp. Surviving are his wife of 26 years, Jacquelyn Ferrara O'Neill, his two sons Christopher and his wife Jill of Rock Hill, SC and James and his wife Nicole of Tampa, FL, his mother Marion Schropp of Clifton, his two stepsons Michael Zelicskovics and his wife Rosine of Jersey City and Jack Zelicskovics of Colonia, his sister Cecelia Pierro of Nutley and two grandchildren Michael Zelicskovics IV and Mayah Rhines. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday March 9th at the Lester Memorial Home 16 W. Church St., Jamesburg. Cremation will be private. Visiting hours for family and friends will be Friday March 8th from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. and Saturday 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
