Edmunda "Edith" K. Demling Obituary (1928

Edmunda "Edith" Katherine Demling, 87 of Monroe Township died Wednesday February 10th at the Merwick Care Center, Plainsboro. Born and raised in Sayreville, Mrs. Demling lived in South River for 53 years before moving to the Rossmoor community in Monroe Township 17 years ago. She enjoyed parties with her family, traveling and playing board games. Mrs. Demling was predeceased by her husband John in 1999, six sisters, a brother and her grandson Douglas John Garrity. Surviving are her daughters Elizabeth Bund of Monroe Township, Nancy Demling of Plainsboro and Dianne Dalfonzo of Hamilton, her four grandchildren Patrick Joseph Garrity, Paul James Arotin, Jamie Lynn Kern and Alexander James Arotin and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday February 12th at the Lester Memorial Home. Burial will follow in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick. Visiting for family and friends will be from Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
