Donna Marie Cestari

Donna Marie Cestari, 75, of Monroe Twp., NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 15, 2026. Born in Bayonne, NJ, on March 10, 1950, to the late Anthony and Lucille Cestari. Donna's life was an illustration of her generous spirit, unwavering loyalty, and unwaning support to those fortunate enough to know her. She made her home in Monroe Township, New Jersey, where she lived out her passions and provided a nurturing environment for her loved ones and pets.

Donna devoted many years of her life as an Administrative Assistant in the Criminal Divisions of the State of New Jersey. Her dedication to her work was only surpassed by her dedication to her family. She was a supportive pillar, always prioritizing the needs of her family above all else. Her strength and determination were an inspiration, providing comfort and stability for her loved ones during challenging times. Despite her demanding career, Donna found time to indulge in her love for the beach and her cats, her companions in solace and joy.

Donna's rich legacy will continue to thrive through her family, who carry her memory with immense love and respect. She is survived by her devoted fiancé, Gary George, her loving daughter Dawn Caponigro and her husband John, her cherished grandchildren Christopher and Jessica Caponigro. She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews, Renee Haines and her husband Brian, Dr. Robin Golson and her husband Craig, and their son Devin Golson; She also leaves behind many cousins and dear friends. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Carmella Molnar.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Lester Memorial Home, 16 West Church Street, Jamesburg, NJ, Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at St. James the Less Cemetery in Jamesburg.
