Deborah Ann "Debbie" O'Neill Obituary (1968

We bid farewell to Deborah (Debbie) O'Neill, a gentle, sweet soul who departed from this world on August 20, 2024. Deb was an enduring example of strength and optimism. Even when confronted with the toughest of challenges, she chose to maintain a positive outlook. Known by her family as the "Energizer Bunny" she always maintained a "glass half-full" perspective, reminding others that "things could always be worse." Deb loved her almost daily visits to Dunkin Donuts, the Jersey shore, listening to 80's pop music and playing arcade video games on the boardwalk (where she exhibited an unusual talent for mastering Ms. Pac Man)! She was a former parishioner of St. John Vianney RC Church, Colonia where she derived great joy from singing in the Sunday choir and special holiday masses. Deb is survived by her father Donald, mother Lucille, sister Lucy (Corey) Averill, best friend Ken, and numerous friends and acquaintances around Central New Jersey. She will be missed but leaves behind an infectious smile and sense of humor.
