Claire H. (Zukowski) Areeda Obituary (1938

Claire H. (Zukowski) Areeda 75 of Toms River died Tuesday March 18th at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Jersey City, Mrs. Areeda lived in Jamesburg since age 13 before moving to Toms River in 1995. She was employed for 10 years as assistant comptroller at the Unisys Corp., South Brunswick, retiring in 1990. Previously she was the Director of Education and Recreation for 10 years at the Rossmoor community in Monroe Twp. During the 1970's she was the owner of the Needle & Thread Shop, Jamesburg. Mrs. Areeda was a Eucharistic Minister and active congregant at St. George's Episcopal Church, Helmetta. She is predeceased by her husband Richard R. Sr. in 1994, her sisters Sophie Wodjowski and Stella Malanowski and her brother John. Surviving are her daughters Anne Marie Wade and her husband Bill of Jackson, Constance Areeda of Toms River, her son Richard R. Jr. and his wife Holly of Sebec, ME, her grandson Alexander Areeda and her nieces Joyce Grabowksi, Dorothy Macocci and Jane Ann Brown. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday March 29th at St. George's Anglican Church, Helmetta. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Foundation at www.stjude.org.
