Carolin L. Burroughs Knowles, 67 of Monroe Twp. died Saturday October 30, 2010 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Norfolk, VA, Mrs. Knowles moved to Jamesburg in 1960 and then to the Clearbrook community in Monroe Twp. in 2007. She was employed for 10 years as a bartender at the Forsgate Country Club, Monroe Twp., retiring in 2007. Surviving are her two daughters Sharon Horvath and her husband Martin of Monroe Twp. and Michelle Knowles of East Brunswick, her son Victor and his wife Renee of Monroe Twp., two brothers Carlton Burroughs and his wife Gerri of Monroe Twp. and Timothy Burroughs of Monroe Twp., five grandchildren Nicole Esposito and her husband Philip, Jaclyn Horvath, Casey Shamy, Brittany Shamy and Annie Shamy, three great grandchildren Anthony, Gabriella and Dominic Esposito, two nieces Kerian and Kimberly and four nephews Kraig, Frank, John and Cody. Funeral arrangements are private.
