Albert Delorimier, a compassionate soul born on August 5, 1932, in Brooklyn, New York, passed away on October 23, 2026, at the age of 94. Albert's life was a testament to humility and generosity, driven by a deep sense of dedication to his family and faith. As a retired pharmacist with a distinguished career in research and development at Bristol Myers Squibb, Albert was known for his smart, innovative contributions to the pharmaceutical industry and his service as a Korean War veteran. His love for salt water fishing was only surpassed by his devotion to his role as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Bartholomew's Roman Catholic Church in East Brunswick, where he shared his time and spirit, embodying the words of Matthew 5:9, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God."
Albert's life was richly woven with the love of his family, who will continue to honor his memory. He leaves behind his children, Thomas and his wife Lisa, Mary and her husband James, and John. Albert's grandchildren, Gage, Hayley, Ryan, Jenny, Alex, and Jordan, along with his great-grandchildren, Sylvia, Teague, and Briar, were the light of his life, each of them carrying a piece of his gentle spirit and generous heart. His beloved wife Janet, and parents Alexander and Elina, preceded him in death, and are surely welcoming him with open arms.
As we gather to celebrate Albert’s life, we are reminded of his unwavering faith and the joy he brought into our lives. His legacy is one of kindness and selflessness, a life lived in service to others.
